The story of Sao and her cuisine

I’ve had a passion for cooking ever since I was a little girl, and I love preparing the culinary specialties of my homeland, Thailand.

As a child, I used to help my mother prepare dishes in her street food shop in Chok Chai (Isaan, northeastern Thailand). Today, I take over at 122 Rue Américaine in Ixelles, in the Châtelain district.

Brussels, and nearly 3 years on the MenuNextDoor.com platform, I’ll now be behind the stoves (or rather behind the woks) in my “open” kitchen at Sao Thai Cuisine!

My dishes are prepared to order with quality ingredients sourced both locally and from Thailand.

Beer, who was involved in the “Sao Thai Cuisine” project from the outset, already has over 5 years’ experience in the dining room, and was in charge of running a Thai restaurant in Waterloo.

He pays particular attention to hospitality and customer service, as is customary in Asia and particularly in Thailand.

He will be delighted to advise you on your choice of menus and suggestions. And if you don’t have the opportunity to discover our cuisine when you visit us, you can also have our dishes delivered to you, or opt for takeaway to enjoy them at home.
